My wife got this for me for Valentines day. I was worried when I got it, because based on the watch's look, I thought she had spent a lot of money on it. The watch looks expensive. It's a big watch, but very lightweight due to being made of wood.
I had not so many expectations, in view of the price. Actually the watch is working well, looks very nice and the built quality is more than decent. Everything is working properly.
You feel the low cost (and the proportional quality and solidity) only when you adjust time and date: the crown is a bit flimsy and certainly shall be operated with some attention and lightness. All in all satisfied !
This watch gets noticed. I wore it to a friend's birthday party the other night, and the hostess saw it, and actually stopped the party and had me show it off to everyone. It is decently well made and has nice bright wood. The dials to set the date and time are not heavy-duty and feel like they would break if turned to hard or fast; be careful with them.
I was wasn't sure how good of an idea a wooden watch is. But after getting this watch, I'm surprised by how well it's holding up after banging it up nice and good. It has held up to this point, and I've had it for a few months. It's really light, it doesn't hurt your wrist and it gets compliments what more can I ask for?
